Films of your most special day that will make you sob ♥️
Think of me as a fly on the wall - purely there to witness and capture the most delicate and intimate moments so that you can watch them back and remember them just how they happened - uninterrupted, genuine, and precious.
I choose Super 8mm film for its timelessness and instantaneous tear-jerking superpowers.
Yes it is expensive, yes it can be unpredictable, no it’s not possible to capture every single moment as you may with digital - but that’s what makes it that much more special. It’s those most important moments, the happy accidents, the anticipation of finding out what exactly was captured weeks later once receiving the scans - that makes it one of a kind.
You and your partner, along with your chosen friends and family will be the narrators of your story - they know you best and will know just the right things to say.
We can work with pretty much anything but the outdoors and the beaming sun are film’s best friends - the more the merrier.
A note about destination weddings + weddings outside of California: nothing makes me happier than a new adventure ~ if you’re looking for someone to fly out for your big day, I’m your guy!

FAQs
What is your turn around time?
Four months or less :)
It can be much quicker depending on how many other projects I have during the time of your wedding!
Where are you available to shoot weddings?
I will travel to just about anywhere as long as I have ability in my schedule and we’re able to work out all of the logistics in advance!
Do you ever shoot digital?
I do have a setup to shoot digital however I would highly recommend to go with film if it’s within your budget! A really beautiful middle ground is to splice in hi-8 and digital camcorder footage with the film if you want to have audio captured of your day/ have more contrast!
How much film do you shoot?
I recommend shooting 6-8 rolls which amounts to 15-20 minutes of total footage that I will edit down to 8-10 minutes for a full coverage wedding.
Do you ever shoot stills?
Yes, although only as supplemental add ons! 35mm film, polaroid, and digital are available. I recommend still having a dedicated photographer if it’s within your budget as my work focuses on candid moments vs. planned portraits.
What happens if something goes wrong with the film?
This is a natural risk we will both agree to take together in choosing to use this format. I’ve never had film come back unusable - if anything it has a special character to it! But in the event that something catastrophic happens all I require is that my travel and the cost of the film is still reimbursed. I will waive my shoot day fee as well as the editing fee in this case.
