Brandon Hafetz (hay-fitz) is a Los Angeles based filmmaker and songwriter who tells stories via the mediums of Super 8mm film, mini dv/hi-8, and location-based DIY recordings about the beautiful humans that pass through his life.
His work centers around love in it’s limitless forms, adventure, everlasting youth, and the expansive queer experience.
He’s been the front man of an indie-rock band, the quietest folk singer-songwriter, the loudest post-punk drummer, and most recently has become the person behind the camera. He’s lived in Boston, New York City, Providence, and Berlin before returning to his forever home of Los Angeles.
Brandon is now working on music and motion projects in California as well as domestically and internationally as they present themselves.
